GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn -- Using honest portrayals of children with mental health disorders, Fidgety Fairy Tales conveys accurate and vital information about children's mental health through clever twists on classic children's fairy tales.

Fidgety Fairy Tales is the brainchild of Twin Cities theatre artists Matt Jenson and Marya Hart, both teaching artists at the Children's Theatre Company. Playwright Matt Jenson is also a faculty member of the University of Minnesota Department of Theatre Arts and Dance and serves as Director of Arts Programming at MACMH.

Increasing knowledge and understanding has been identified as a key to eliminating stigma, resulting in better treatment and care for children and adolescents who have mental health disorders.

Performances are an hour long and are appropriate for all ages. Tickets are free; reservations are encouraged.
