BLUE EARTH, Minn. - Authorities have identifed the man killed during a home invasion that also left a mother and two of her daughters seriously hurt.
The Bureau of Criminal Apprehension(BCA) said Tuesdady that 37-year-old Christopher Michael Fulmer died as the result of blunt force trauma.
Police say a masked man entered Fulmer's home early Monday morning. Investigators believe the suspect was armed with some type of tool when he attacked Fulmer, 38-year-old Candice Marine Freeman of Ceylon and Freeman's teenage daughters, ages 19 and 15.
The suspect is in the Faribault County Jail and is expected to be formally charged in the next few days.
Freeman and the two daughters are at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester and their conditions are not being released.
Freeman's 6-year-old daughter was uninjured.
