ST. PAUL, Minn. -- They may have blisters and swollen ankles, but eight college students say it's worth it.
Brett Anderson, Moriah Miles, Matt Lexcen and Tom Williams were part of the group who left the Minnesota State University-Mankato campus on Monday and walked 95 miles to St. Paul's Capitol steps.
The students met with Governor Mark Dayton and lawmakers to let them know how proposed budget cuts will make it difficult for students to afford higher education.
