ISANTI COUNTY, Minn. -- Isanti County authorities are sorting out tens of thousands of dollars of stolen goods recovered in two raids earlier this week. Three people were arrested during the raids in Bradford Township in Isanti County and Oak Grove township in Anoka County on Wednesday.
A person described in the search warrant as a "Confidential Reliable Informant" tipped deputies off to the activity at 29579 Dahlia Street NW in Bradford Township. Upon arriving at the property, deputies noticed a Cub Cadet lawn tractor known "to be stolen from Greenberg's Implement in the city of Nowthen, Minnesota".
Chief Deputy Bill Guenther says that led to finding a cache of property at that residence and the Oak Grove Township location worth well in excess of $60,000.
"Two Polaris Switchback snowmobiles, Two Polaris 4-wheelers, a brand new Cub Cadet lawn tractor, A snowmobile frame with a winch," noted Guenter, standing inside a county shed near a Crestliner boat, also seized.
"Anoka County recovered 3 big enclosed trailers, two vehicles, another snowmobile and assorted car parts, transmissions, motors, things like that," said Guenther.
Arrested and charged with 5th degree possession of Methamphetamines were Megan Alyene Victoria Herrboldt, 30, of Champlin, Peter Charles Hansen, 46, of Cambridge and Harry Dell Anderson, 36, of Isanti. None of the defendants live at the address of the raid. The owner of that property is incarcerated on unspecified previous charges according to court documents.
Bail was set at $25,000 for Herrboldt and Anderson and $20,000 for Hansen. At this writing, only Herrboldt had posted bail and was released.
Guenter said the victims of the thefts will begin to be notified in coming days. "We are going to run everything here and be in contact with registered owners."
No charges had been filed as yet in the property thefts. Guenther said more arrests are possible.
